Zion National Park
Visitor Center

Outside of Visitor Center

If you have just arrived at Zion and are a bit overwhelmbed by its grandeur, try the Visitor center. This new facility is made to blend in with its surroundings and a visit here will give you an overview of the park. There are informative videos about the animals, the plants, the water, and the rocks of the park. There are pictorial displays and hands-on structures which will help you understand the geology of Zion National Park.

At the gift shop, you can buy hats, t-shirts, sunscreen, water bottles, puzzles, posters, post cards, souveniers, and more. The gift shop at the visitor center does not offer food or drinks.

The Visitors Center is quite pleasant: definitely worth visiting when you want an easy day. There's much to see, touch, and learn from. Not to mention, there are a few hikes that leave from this area, so plan accordingly and make day of it.
