| | Galileo Cafe is conveniently located at the Reuben H Fleet Science Center. There's much to see and do at the Science Center, so you may need a break and Galileo Café is just the spot for it. This eatery is located inside the building - well, you order your food inside the building, but you eat your food outside. Food offered here include:soups, hot & cold sandwiches, hot dogs, burritos, pizza, pastas, salads, chips, pretzels, muffins, scones, cookies, ice creams, coffee, tea, soda, and bottled drinks. All in all, a very good selection of let's-take-a-break food. All seating is outdoors under an umbrella or under the beautiful San Diego sky. One major highlight of this restaurant is that you are seated beside the big (Bea Evenson) water fountain. Children can run over, enjoy a spray of mist, and then run back to the eating area. It's a great option for moms and dads who have fidgety kids. On occasion, musicians will play by the fountain giving you a great outdoorsy experience. Food, fountain, song, & science. What more can you ask for?
